A Word From The Editor
The year 2001 is the centenary of Australia's Federation and we're all feeling proud of our heritage and all things Australian. While Typequick P/L hasn't been around for 100 years, we're 100% Australian and we have been developing and marketing typing tutor software for more than nineteen years.

In the software industry, where companies come and go, we're proud of our long history producing and exporting successful Australian software. TYPEQUICK is the most widely used training course in the history of Australian skills training.

Typequick for Students Success

The popularity of TYPEQUICK FOR STUDENTS, our ten hour multimedia typing adventure, is continuing to grow in leaps and bounds.

The award winning, multimedia program is currently being used in more than 700 Australian schools and has reached the number four position on the dealer's best seller list*.

Both high schools and primary schools are experiencing great results with the program with students as young as seven successfully learning to touch-type.

This is pleasing parents - A survey back in 1997 showed 77% of parents wanted their kids to learn the proper way to touch-type.

"Simply the best typing tutor available in Australia".
PC Buyer Magazine

"We are extremely happy with the program. Some children will continue typing, even if they have an option to play a game".
Jan Davis, Newport Public School

"This latest version of Typequick is the only typing program that lives up to its claims as the fastest, most successful typing course ever for students. Overall, Typequick offers top value for money".
Linda Bruce, School PC Magazine

TYPEQUICK FOR STUDENTS is available in both a stand-alone or network version. If you would like more information or a demonstration copy of the program, please give us a call.

Primary students can map their success

Barbara Braxton, a teacher from Palmerston District Primary School, contacted us with an idea. She asked if we could supply a map of Australia with the destinations from TYPEQUICK FOR STUDENTS on it and a 'road' that students could colour in as they progressed through the course.

Barbara feels that the kids really benefit from being able to see the visual evidence of their progress as it helps them see their success.

Barbara wrote to us, "The beauty of Typequick is that even the least able kids can experience success. For some of our kids, this is the first taste of success

they have had, and I would love to be able to acknowledge it in a physical format that could be shared with parents".

Typequick is pleased to announce that Barbara's vision is now a reality. If your primary school would like to receive a copy of the TYPEQUICK FOR STUDENTS Success Map, please email us and we will send you the map via email as an electronic file.

We are happy to provide the map free of charge to our school customers who email us.
